Subcutaneous or intramuscular administration according to the need and response of the animal, the recommended average dose for: Cattle and Horses 10 to 40 I.U., Pigs 10 to 30 I.U., Dogs 2 to 10 I.U., Cats 2 to 5 I.U.
Stimulating the contractions of the uterus. Useful in the control of postpartum hemorrhages, atony of the uterus, retention of the placenta, elimination of pyometra, septic metritis and as a stimulant of milk secretion. Use in Cattle, Horses, Pigs, Canines and Cats.
Do not use in dystocic deliveries, abnormal fetal positions, torsion of the uterus and intestinal obstructions. When it is used to promote childbirth, it must be ensured that there is good dilation of the cervix. Infectious processes must be accompanied by the corresponding antimicrobial therapy.
